I understand that she was concerned, because both her shop and the thrift shop was closed, but like I said, we came in from the side and didn't see the sign on the front of the door until we drove passed it. However, it wouldn't have taken much to say "Can I help you?" Or something to be polite. We would have just left and none of this would have happened. It's bad for business and honestly really immature for an adult to come screaming at a bunch of teenagers for being curious. We did not break any laws, we never got inside the dumpster or even close enough to try. That wasn't our intentions. Who wouldn't think the sign was ridiculous? Anyway, that was my experience with the woman who worked at the shop.

So, me and my friends pulled into the shop from the side to go into the thrift store. One of our friends in the car noticed the dumpster that said "No dumpster diving after 7am-7pm". And we were confused so we walk up to it and like 5 seconds later, before we even get 5 ft from it, a woman walks out of the salon screaming at us and threatening to call the police. At first, we tried our best to be polite and explain that we were trying to figure out the writing. We'd thought at first a bunch of dumb teenagers wrote it, but she made it clear that whoever wrote it, works at the shop. Over and over again, she threatens to call the police, so finally we walked away from the dumpster. I can't remember exact words, but some of the things she yelled were "I mean look at you!", "I work at the police department!", "I work like a dog!" and a bunch of other things. She even managed to puff out her chest and got in our faces, even blocking our way to the vehicle. Yes, we were mad. When she threatened to call the police for the hundredth time, I said "what are you gonna call the police for? For us looking at your dumpster?" Then she walked really fast toward me as if trying to intimidate me. When we were finally at my vehicle, threatened to get my license plate number so at this point we just started ignoring her and got in the vehicle, and left.
